Today many students, staff and teachers wore their pajamas and received a Red Ribbon to remind them of the importance of staying safe by saying NO to drugs. We appreciate all our parents who are teaching and modeling good habits for their students. We want all children and families to be healthy in mind, body and spirit, and saying No to drugs will help us accomplish this.

Indigenous Day Monday, October 11th! Don't forget to dress up in Traditional attire!

On Tuesday, October 5, we had a wonderful School Community Council meeting thanks to our wonderful parents who were willing to participate for an hour after school. We elected our new officials for the year and reviewed the goals. We also discussed some of the upcoming activities for October and November. UNHS will hopefully partner with TES for a Trunk or Treat and future activities. Classes will be decorating their classroom doors and hallways. Parents will get to vote on the doors they like. Students will have parties in their classrooms, but due to restrictions, there will not be a parade this year. Watch for upcoming announcements for future fun!

Back to School Night is Tuesday, Aug. 24- (See flyer for your time). Come and meet your child's teachers and receive gifts and important information!

Back To School Night has been postponed What a blessing we are having with the moisture and rain that is upon Monument Valley. But because of the rain we will be postponing the Back To School Night until NEXT week Tuesday Aug. 24, 2021, from 5pm to 630pm. BUT no matter the RAIN, SNOW, or run away sheep, tomorrow is still the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL...WOOHOO see you all bright and early. Remember that those riding the buses and those entering the school are required to wear masks.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT MOVED TO NEXT TUESDAY.
Due to the rain, we will postpone Back to School Night to next week where the weather will hopefully be more cooperative. Get a good night's rest and watch for busses bright and early! School opens for breakfast at 7:50 am. Ahe'hee!
